Integrated Coaching & Match Insight
At Centred Coaching, video analysis is used to support development, not overwhelm it.
As a UEFA licensed coach and PFSA Level 3 Performance Analyst, I combine on-pitch coaching with match and training analysis to help players better understand what, why and how they are performing.
Using an xBot Go automated camera, I capture full-pitch footage that allows players to see the game as it truly unfolds, their positioning, movement, decisions and understanding not just isolated moments on the ball.
This creates clarity, confidence and purposeful improvement.
How Video Analysis Is Used
Video analysis is always:
Age-appropriate
Role-specific
Linked directly to coaching themes
Focused on learning, not criticism
Rather than highlighting everything, I carefully select key moments that best support a player’s development.
The aim is to reinforce good habits, highlight learning opportunities and build football intelligence. Players are encouraged to see the game, not fear it.
What the xBot Go Adds
The xBot Go camera allows for:
Full-pitch tactical context
Clear understanding of positioning and spacing
Consistent footage across matches or sessions
Visual learning that complements coaching discussions
This is particularly valuable for:
Young players developing game understanding
Players stepping up a level
Those who benefit from visual learning
Trial or confidence preparation
Integrated With Coaching
Video analysis is most powerful when it supports coaching, not replaces it.
Where appropriate, clips are:
Used to inform upcoming sessions
Referenced during on-pitch work
Linked to simple, clear development goals
This ensures players don’t just see the game, they play it better.
Who This Is For
Video analysis is suitable for:
Young players who want to improve their understanding of the game
Players seeking clarity around their role or position
Parents looking for structured, meaningful development
Players preparing fortrials or transitions
Teams or individuals wanting a more joined-up approach
No two players receive the same analysis, everything is tailored.
